Broadway to Boston

Wow what an amazing 2 weeks it’s been – lecturing and performing in 11 cities including Detroit, Chicago, Philly, Boston, Scranton, State College, Bridgeport, Rochester, Springfield as well as an appearance in New York in the longest running Off Broadway Magic Show – Monday Night Magic.

It’s been amazing if somewhat rushed!  My favourite part is that I’ve met some amazing people as well as hooking up with old friends.  I’ve lectured in the coolest home theatre I’ve ever seen at Marc DeSouza’s outside of Philladelphia.  I got to visit with Danny Alan in Bridgeport (he was one of our guest acts on the Magic ‘n Miracles tour).  I got to visit Sandra Eng in New York – a dear friend and daughter of renowned magic couple in Victoria – Tony and Ann Eng.

I was surprised tonight in Boston by David Bateman who was the sound man (and a good friend) on my first cruise for Celebrity Cruises on the Zenith in 1995.  And I’ve been able to hang out with some wonderful, awesome, friendly folks in all of these cities  who are passionate about their magic and eager to learn more.

What I’ve really seen and learned is that there are amazing people everywhere.  You just have to open your eyes.  Now it’s time to head home and see my lovely wife and my incredible little boy…
